Purpose
NAHQ’s social media channels exist to foster thoughtful, respectful dialogue about healthcare Quality, patient safety and workforce development. We welcome diverse perspectives and encourage open discussion that advances learning and collaboration.
What We Encourage
We invite community members to:
- Share professional insights, experiences and constructive feedback related to healthcare Quality & Safety
- Ask questions and engage respectfully with NAHQ and other members of the community
- Contribute perspectives that reflect a commitment to professionalism, learning and continuous improvement
Community Standards
To ensure a safe and productive environment, participants are expected to:
- Engage respectfully, even when there are differences of opinion
- Use professional language appropriate for a healthcare and nonprofit setting
- Respect the privacy and dignity of individuals and organizations
Content That Is Not Permitted
NAHQ reserves the right to remove comments or restrict participation as it deems appropriate, including when NAHQ observes content that contains:
- Personal attacks, harassment, threats, or abusive language
- Hate speech, discrimination or derogatory remarks toward individuals or groups
- Profanity, obscenity or sexually explicit material
- Disclosure of confidential, proprietary or personally identifiable information, including protected health information
- Commercial promotions, spam or solicitation unrelated to NAHQ’s mission
- Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity or affiliation
- Repeated posting of the same or substantially similar content across multiple posts
- Information determined to be false or misleading, particularly related to healthcare Quality, patient safety, or professional credentials
- Infringement of the copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others
To keep conversations productive, NAHQ may redirect or remove comments that are off‑topic or unrelated to the subject of the original post.
Moderation and Enforcement
NAHQ moderates its social media channels as it deems appropriate to maintain a respectful and mission‑aligned environment. Actions may include:
- Hiding or removing comments that violate these guidelines
- Limiting or blocking repeat offenders
- Reporting content that poses a safety or legal concern
Moderation decisions are made to preserve constructive dialogue and protect the integrity of the community, not to suppress differing viewpoints.
NAHQ does not endorse opinions or statements expressed by other users. NAHQ is not obligated to edit or remove posts that may be inaccurate, or for any other purpose. Community members are responsible for assessing and determining the Quality of materials and information posted to social media.
